MultiState Conservation Grant Program
Committee Charge:
Reviews and recommends annually to the State Directors the Strategic Priorities to be used in the solicitation and selection of grants under the Multistate Conservation Grant Program (MSCGP) later in the year.
Reviews and recommends to the State Directors the MSCGP proposals that are funded by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS). During the Association’s Annual meeting, the State Directors approve the Association’s “priority list,” which is due to USFWS’ Division of Federal Assistance by October 1 of each year.

Multistate Conservation Grant Program
The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service cooperatively administer the Multistate Conservation Grant Program (“MSCGP”). The MSCGP funds projects that address regional or national level funding priorities of state fish and wildlife agencies. Each year, up to $11,000,000 is available to fund MSCGP projects through eligible State agencies and non-governmental organizations.
