Leadership Launchpad is MAT's newest and most innovative framework for developing leadership skills and capacity, designed specifically for early to mid-career natural resource conservation professionals.

We invite you to join our pilot cohort where the foundations are laid for your unique strengths and style. This cohort will help guide you on your path to practice inclusive and integral ways of leading in whatever spaces you wish to navigate.

The objectives for your leadership launchpad program include:

  • Identifying and utilizing your strengths in leadership

  • Advancing your leadership journey with supportive relationships

  • Creating an environment of celebration and appreciation

Through dynamic live sessions, you'll collaborate with fellow cohort members, forging invaluable partnerships and gaining insights to propel your leadership journey forward. In addition, you’ll explore your inner wisdom that will help you be more authentic, effective and confident. Additionally, the asynchronous platform offers a rich tapestry of resources, fostering daily connections, thought-provoking discussions, and expert guidance from our faculty. Together, we'll delve into reflective communication, relationship-building strategies, and discover your true leadership style. We hope that this opportunity will chart your success with a custom "how to navigate the path" plan.

The program week is September 16-20, 2024. Some prep-work is required between September 2-16, 2024. The agenda includes three live, virtual sessions of 2-hour duration on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the program week. The live sessions are supplemented with engagement on the asynchronous platform, matlearning.org, to deepen discovery and reflection. Please note that this cohort requires 10-12 hours of your commitment including 6 hours of virtual attendance.

Registration opens July 22nd at matlearning.org. Fee for the pilot cohort is $149 - 50% off the cost of subsequent sessions.
