A. The state of Louisiana hereby assents to the provisions of the Dingell-Johnson Sport Fish Restoration Act (also known as the “Federal Aid in Fish Restoration Act” and the “Fish Restoration and Management Projects Act” [16 U.S.C. § 777 et seq.]) and the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act (also known as the “Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act” [16 U.S.C. § 669 et seq.]). The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to perform such acts as may be necessary to the conduct and establishment of cooperative fish and wildlife restoration projects as defined in said acts of congress, in compliance with said acts and rules and regulations promulgated by the Secretary of Interior thereunder. B. The commission is hereby authorized to acquire by purchase, gift, eminent domain, or otherwise, all property necessary, useful, or convenient for the use of the commission; and no funds accruing to this state from license fees paid by the fishermen and hunters shall be diverted to any other purpose than the administration, implementation, and support of hunting and fishing activities and for the protection, propagation, preservation, and investigation of fish and wildlife.
