The Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies strongly supports the formal delisting decision for grizzly bears in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The announcement last month by Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke brought to a close 41 years of research and restoration initiatives in keeping with the federal Endangered Species Act (ESA).

The Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies supports the introduction of the Hunting Heritage and Environmental Legacy Preservation (HELP) for Wildlife Act (S. 1514). This bipartisan legislation would reauthorize important conservation programs and provide federal regulatory clarity for sportsmen.
