Working Group Charge:
Identify effective means for member states, provinces, territories, and federal agencies to address and advance bat conservation, including through improved policies, funding avenues, and via interagency and external partner collaboration.
Furthermore, the working group seeks opportunities for increased interactions with other AFWA committees and provides guidance or assistance on cross-cutting issues involving bats, their regional threats, or their habitats, as needed or requested. In addition, the working group creates a forum for discussion and information sharing regarding broad collaborations (for example NA Bat monitoring and WNS response) and development of new conservation tools and solutions.
