Who Attends the North American Annual Meeting?
The North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference continues under the auspices of the Wildlife Management Institute and serves as the premiere annual forum for the continents leading scientists, managers, educators and administrators to address prevailing issues, policies and practices of professional management of wildlife and other natural resources.
The Conference sites throughout North America are selected a number of years in advance, at the discretion of the Conference steering committee and WMI officers. Every four years, the "North American" meets in Washington, DC, or the immediate vicinity. Each year, the Conference theme and formal agenda are developed with input from the Conference program committee, representing major government, university and private "players" in the business of professionally managing fish and wildlife resources.
