Outdoor Investigations Webinar

How can you teach youth outdoor observation skills?

When: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM WEDNESDAY, JULY 25

Finding out what is going on in nature takes skills - and the AFWA CE Strategy provides the resources to develop those skills. Using the Fostering Outdoor Observation Skills and the Field Investigation: Using Outdoor Environments to Foster Student Learning of Scientific Processes will help you teach the skills needed to observe nature, ask questions about the natural world and investigate the answers to those questions.

Instructors Tabbi Kinion and Justin Marschall will give you a brief overview of the resources and exercise your outdoor observation and questioning skills while sitting at your computer. Tabbi is the Education Outreach Coordinator for Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Justin is Information/Education Specialist with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
