Ocean Resources Policy Committee
The Ocean Resources Policy Committee identifies and recommends AFWA's positions on bills and policy coming before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies.
The committee is founded on three principles: (1) states should have a strong role in the management of our ocean fisheries; (2) no new federal bureaucracy is needed to manage our ocean fisheries; and (3) we need to improve the science used to manage ocean fisheries.
