Fisheries/Water Resources Policy Committee

The Fisheries and Water Resources Policy Committee's responsibilities generally relate to inland waters and issues associated with federal laws, regulations and policies concerning water uses, aquatic habitat conservation, fisheries resources and related funding for such programs.

The committee also discusses, develops and recommends AFWA positions related to fisheries management practices and emerging issues (e.g. climate change) for both freshwater and marine resources.
