It is the responsibility of the Fish and Wildlife Health Committee to provide expert advice and counsel to the members of the Association and its officers on fish and wildlife health matters.
The committee monitors and evaluates state and federal animal health legislation and administrative actions in terms of their potential impacts on fish and wildlife resources and it maintains a close relationship with appropriate officials of the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Interior to assure that the interests of fish and wildlife management are taken into account in any emergency animal disease control program.
