Fish & Wildlife Health Committee

Committee Description

It is the responsibility of the Fish and Wildlife Health Committee to monitor and evaluate state and federal animal health legislation and administrative actions in terms of their potential impacts on wildlife resources; to maintain a close relationship with appropriate officials of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to assure that the interests of wildlife management are taken into account in any emergency animal disease control program; to provide expert advice and counsel to the members of the Association and its officers on wildlife health matters; and to prepare an annual report that covers these and related issues for the benefit of the membership.
